Trump’s Entitlement to Other Country’s Wars

All politicians have a certain level of entitlement, but Donald Trump’s seems higher than most. His self-proclaimed leadership role in other countries' wars is not only detrimental but proves just how delusional the president of the United States really is. As leader of one of the most powerful nations in the world, whatever Trump says regardless of whether he follows through has a knock-on effect.
Although his love for meddling is nothing new, he has been on somewhat of a rampage as of recently from publicly announcing his plans of ethnic cleansing in Gaza to creating a new luxurious Gaza Riviera, to his patronising approach to Ukrainian President Zelensky.
Trump has a certain level of entitlement that is higher than even that of your average politician. In his mind, he is the world’s saviour, he views himself as omnipotent and thus expects every war-ridden nation to either beg or accept his unwanted help. In reality, though this so-called help never comes without some form of catch, it's always designed in a way to benefit Trump’s presidency more than anyone else.
Most recently, he attempted to force his exploitative help onto Palestine. In this recent proposal, he suggested that the United States "take over" and "own" the Gaza Strip as this would control any further conflict. He made this proposal while standing side by side with Benjamin Netanyahu, the very man responsible for the genocide of Palestine, so you can only imagine who this move is supposed to favour.
Trump went on to say that Palestine is inhabitable so the Palestinian people won't want to go back there, and whose fault is that? Also, I don't think it’s for Trump to decide what the Palestinian people want or need.
When questioned about what would happen with Palestinians he simply said they would be dispersed around neighbouring Arab countries or frankly anywhere that will take them. But Trump does not have this political pull to dictate how other nations approach the situation.
Shortly after these absurd claims, Trump had a heated fallout with Ukrainian President Zelensky. Donald Trump and his deputy spent the majority of the meeting patronising Zelensky and accusing him of not being thankful enough for US support.
"You're either going to make a deal or we're out, and if we're out, you'll fight it out. I don't think it's going to be pretty."
Ukraine was strongly reliant on US support so when Trump decided to pause aid after the disagreement, Zelensky was left with no other option but to apologise and try to ease tensions. However, it is worth mentioning that Trump is more interested in the minerals that exist within Ukraine rather than the nation’s safety, as it was later revealed that Zelensky signed a deal for the minerals.
According to many, Zelensky is allowing Trump to rip him off to avoid being robbed by Putin.
The often-spoken-of wars are not the only ones that Trump likes to dabble in. He has pushed troops to make a move in reclaiming military equipment that is now in the hands of the Taliban in Afghanistan.
“We left billions, tens of billions of dollars worth of equipment behind, brand new trucks. You see them display it every year, or their little roadway, someplace where they have a road and they drive the, you know, waving the flag and talking about America ... that’s all the top of the line stuff,” he said. “I think we should get a lot of that equipment back.”
Then there’s the warning from China that it’s prepared for “any type” of war with the US as the trade war between the two continues to worsen. The warning came in response to Trump’s decision to raise trade tariffs while increasing spending on the military.
Despite all the war looming in the air, and Trump’s decisions to exploit them for his own benefit, out of all the US presidents he is still the most ‘anti-war’ per se.
On a side note I’m happy to contribute opinion pieces as well as other pieces, we can discuss this matter further over email or whichever method you prefer, here’s a little too public. Do let me know, thanks.
Very good piece, explaining the Ukraine situation in a way which the BBC or Sky News would not dare no delve into, and very smartly linked to genocide in Gaza and Trump’s plans to turn the besieged Strip into real estate, again things that have come out of his own mouth but that the mainstream media won’t dare discuss. Keep promoting, this deserves far more clicks and views.
